I don’t know if I have just watched WAY MORE SKATEBOARDING than any unathletic 30 year old woman needs to in any given weekend, but it kinda seems like my bird friend was trying to do a sweet trick of some kind,
Today me and The Redhead sat in the park and hid under covers taking pictures of each other.
Ryan showed up too, and then took pictures of both of us.
He needed to pick up his cam cause he lent it to me for the weekend. I’ve been playing around with it a bunch, and really really like it.
As far as photo stuff, I am the LEAST tech savvy person out there. I just told someone I volunteered to do wedding photos for that my technique is mostly just “take a bunch and assume something somewhat decent will happen”.
Even though that’s moreorless been my motto, I have still always been a Canon camera elitish. My first ever manual camera was a Canon Rebel, and from there- the brand just worked for me. Plus I met other people in the Canon cult, and they all mirrored my sentiments at the time.
All that said, after this weekend with the Nikon, I am not so 100% sure where I stand on these things anymore,
a bird flew into my house today. it brought panic all over the place.
blindly over the windows,
with purpose on the walls,
with fury behind some flowers.
eventually it calmed down on my VCR.
then it fell behind the TV.
i kept expecting it to die of fright. just fall off of it’s perch upside down
like in a cartoon.
eventually i hid in the other room.
afraid it would peck out my eyes.
my back against the same wall as the tv i was figuring out what i was going to do with its little bird bones and little bird skull.
i REALLY like dressing my friends up in my clothes.
it gave me a weird amount of self esteem to know i am about as “thick” as my signature “skinny dude” friend
